Due to the current surge in Covid cases in Athens and nationwide, Oconee Rivers Audubon Society will move its monthly meeting to Zoom. The meeting is on Thursday, January 6 at 7pm. During the meeting, Sara Watkins, a graduate student at UGA's Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources will be talking about research on the Wild Turkeys in Gerogia currently taking place. Aside from providing an overview of the project, she will delve into past and current research as well as recent advances such as using genomics to understand Wild Turkey social network, and exploring acoustic data using neural network approach.
